This last year was a real doozy for us! We have lost a lot in the past year especially Chris' dad and he will truly be missed. We have learned from some of the misfortunes we have had this past year and can't wait for the new year! We are looking forward to the new year and what is in store for us. Currently we are looking to move into a new place and get back on our own two feet. I surprisingly like moving as its a chance for a positive change and a chance to get all of our things organized and just the way we want it. Chris on the other hand doesn't like moving at all! He of course will be the one doing the heavy lifting. Hopefully we can get some help moving this time around as I think we will need it! Chris has decided that we will rent a box truck as we have enough stuff to fill it and we want to hopefully get everything moved in one fell swoop. We hope that we will be able to find a nice place soon. We will be looking at another place this afternoon!
New Years... We have amazing friends and were able to get tires for the Highlander for super cheap!!! This means that we will be able to go to RENO as we have done the last few years. When we return hopefully we will be packing and getting ready to move. We are also hoping Chris will find a new job so we can start saving money again and building that nest egg back up. God is good and I have faith that he will help to make the opportunities that we are seeking we just have to make the right choices and follow his will. Now it's time for the resolutions! Chris' resolutions are TBA since he feels he needs to wait until the new year to fully decide what they should be. Alicia's resolutions are more typical... She has recently joined Weight Watchers and is looking forward to sticking with the program in order to be healthier, increase activity and get healthy. Since she has started she has already lost 10 lbs! Other resolutions include, saving money, not stressing so much and taking some time to smell the roses rather than getting caught up in doing so much!
Let's see what the new year has in store for us... we are excited!
